Epiphany/reminder
This is going to sound astonishingly stupid, but...

For a long time, I had forgotten that colors do NOT have to be realistic to look good.

I'm not sure how I forgot it in the first place. It's so obvious! I feel liberated. By thinking that I had to go for a realistic color palette, I had shut myself from the vast world of Pretty Fake Colors.

My next color piece (that I do for myself) will be pretty interesting. :) Don't expect it anytime soon, though.

EHEHE, I learn a lot of creative ASCII faces from playing FFXI. XD I'm sure Hanna has a bunch too! Unfortunately, most of them use Japanese characters, and turn out as a bunch of boxes for people who don't have the language pack installed. :\

I started working full-time this past summer, and found that I have a lot of downtime where I have to be in the office but have nothing to do, so I started following your webcomic. :3 And yar, haven't talked for a long time, but I still stalk some of my loverly TAC REFFs~!! ♥♥ I don't really log into instant messengers anymore, and kinda fell outta the artist loop since I was the oddball who went into a completely different industry, so I'm not active on forums and websites, but I still like to browse them~ And I'm always interested in what my old artist buddies are up to now~~!! ♥

I'm fairly content with the job right now - it's with the company I wanted to join, on the campus I wanted to work at (near home hehe). Not quite sure exactly what I'm supposed to do yet, since I just joined this summer and my interim gov't security clearance came in less than a month ago (they couldn't tell me very much before it did D:), but things will pick up in the next couple weeks when people get some time to train me on the lab equipment. :3

You use AIM or MSN lately? Mebbe we catch up sometime!
